Grid Aeration Units
with Side Air-Supply
TWO-COLUMN GRID AERATION UNIT
WITH CENTRAL LIFTING COLUMN AND SIDE AIR-SUPPLY COLUMN
Mapal’s two-column grid aeration unit with central lifting column and side air-supply column is designed for rectangular basins requiring flexible aeration layouts, robust construction, and efficient installation. Based on Mapal’s grid aeration concept, this configuration supports uniform air distribution and reliable mixing while allowing extended piping layouts and broad design flexibility across the basin floor.
Available with tubular or disc diffusers, the system can be manufactured in large dimensions to accommodate a high number of diffusers according to project requirements. It may also be supplied partially pre-assembled for on-site floor assembly, helping reduce installation time and avoiding the need for floor levelling or anchor drilling in many applications.
The unit features a marine-grade stainless steel (304/316) structure for durability and long service life. Depending on project requirements, the system can be configured as removable or non-removable, providing additional flexibility in balancing operational needs, installation method, and project cost.
